In India, the informal sector provides employment to a large portion of the workforce; however, workers in blue-collar industries face challenges such as limited access to verified jobs, wage exploitation, and reliance on intermediaries (International Labour Organization, 2023; NITI Aayog, 2022). While digital employment platforms exist, many fail to provide inclusive and transparent job matching systems suitable for low-literate users (World Bank, 2021). This paper introduces WorkersHire, an AI-driven employment platform designed to bridge the gap between workers and employers using skill-based matching, Aadhaar-based verification, and multilingual accessibility. The proposed system leverages recommendation algorithms to improve job matching accuracy and hiring efficiency (Luo et al., 2020). Experimental results demonstrate significant improvements in job matching accuracy, reduced hiring time, and enhanced fraud detection compared to existing platforms.
